If I remember right the celerons are quite overclockable right? ofc you would know better, this is not my speciality. With its 1MB shared vid mem, its no gaming machine, but if the mobo has an AGP slot, with a second hard 32MB card and the CPU doing ~850MHz, he can pull of some games. Doom3 wont work, but something released a couple of year ago should work. Games already being playable will be slightly better with some extra fps achievable. Lets forget games, if that comp is used for image/audio/video editing, we all know the faster the CPU better the response is (assuming sufficient ram ofcourse). I'd not junk this machine, there are quite some things it CAN pull off. with or without o/c. Pushing it to get a 100MHz extra out of it may make life a lil bit easier for the user. just my thoughts! I hate to see stil-working-not-so-old-comps-die only because they are old and dont have fancy speed ratings. jam, That makes sense I asked because I thought you might of been implying it was too old. I agree with kailas' comment "I hate to see stil-working-not-so-old-comps-die only because they are old and dont have fancy speed ratings." I still run an old gateway 166 OC'd to 200 at home it's performance is fine for what I use it for.
