Comment: Ok, i have a huge problem with my spare computer. I turn it on and it gives me a error "167 no processor bios update found" then it takes me to the BIOS setup screen. So the first im thinking is a BIOS update, of course? Well i looked it up and found this: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-4MBUDT And i didnt not understand that at all. I remember flashing one of my outher PC's i would just have 2 floppy's. 1 with the flashing program on it and 2 with the BIOS update. Typical IBM must be complicated so could someone explain me what to do STEP-BY-STEP what to do in newb terms. Thanks Finding Roaches in the pot.

Reply: (edit)Something I stumbled on while researching the issue is........once it takes you into the BIOS, look for the advanced menu in the BIOS for "processor updating" or something close and set to "disabled". Save the changes, reboot and see if it helps. Tim Odetayo
