Subject: BIOS set up / Tweek?
Body of Message:
Running a new rig I had built and have found my CPU was running a wopping 1.008 MgHx, I currently have made changes and now have the following set up , My question is Can I change any of thses setting to a faster set up ( o/c )?
AMD Athlon XP 2500+, External CLK @ 166 MHz, Muliplier Factor @ X11.o, FSB/Drm Ratio 5/3 (200 MHz)
ALSO can I change the FSB Spread Spectrum from its current 0.50% and the AGP spread from 0.50% AND the Enhance Thremal-Throttling from 50.0% ( cappable to run from 12.0-87.5%) ? Any and all help ??

1) You state you run at 166MHz x 11 at 1.08GHz.
166MHz at 11x is about 1.8GHz which in fact is the true speed of a 2500+ Athlon.
So, which is it? 1.8GHz or 1.08GHz

2) Im assuming you are currently running at 1.8Ghz now, OK?So, in order to overclock, You simply raise the mulitplyer or FSB, which ever one in a combination.
Like, I would go with a 333MHz FSB x 6 at about 2GHz, 7 is too much though. 6.5 may be ine if you mainboard will let you go at .5's
Current Rig
AMD Athlon 64 2.2GHz/400MHz

2x 300GB on IDE0

I'm too old to understand a question written in kiddie chat but I'll take a stab at it.
You have a jumper on the motherboard set at 100Mhz. Changes you make (or try to make) in bios have no effect.
It's in your motherboard manual. I hope you can read better than you type, spell and construct sentences.
Good luck
