Hi i recently built a system, i wanted to oc it so i went to the bios but there is a built in password, if you leve it blank its read only and wont let u cange anything, the mobo is an intel, how might i get rid of the password, thanx
You should be able to use the ClearCMOS jumper...that will remove the password & reset ALL the BIOS settings to their defaults. Check your manual or the motherboard manufacturer's website.
