Ok, so I have been trying to Overclock my new PC just to see what I can get out of it but I can't seem to do anything with it except for underclocking it from 2.2GHz to 1Ghz and changing the HyperTransport Clock from 800MHz to 1000MHz.

Would changing the HT Clock do anything at all?

Why does my BIOS have a feature to save the PC after overclocking fail if you can't even overclock it?

PC1:
- Asus M2V-MX SE Motherboard
- AMD Athlon 64 4200 X2 Dual Core CPU, 2.2GHz
- 1GB DDR667 Memory Module, DDR2
- Onboard GFX (atm)

PC2:
-P4 Laptop/512DDR RAM
-Mobility Radeon9000

No.

Your board is NOT overclockable. You're wasting your time.
