Its to my understanding that video and system cacheable should be enabled, as according to my mobo manual it gives "faster preformance", But been doing some research and most say that it increases FPS in games if it is disabled, especially with the Omega drivers, which i have. So some more info on the subject would be great.

The two caches in question, which usually are indexed in the L2 cache, only apply to BIOS/system board calls. Nobody uses these interfaces when they want performance - your FPS would be through the floor if it depended on them.

The caches speed up boot and that is about it. Once the OS intializes, these can only hinder performance, if anything. However, I doubt you will notice without empirical measurement, if you do at all.

System BIOS Cacheable:

"it would be a waste of the Level 2 cache's bandwidth if the motherboard BIOS was cached instead of data that are more critical to the system's performance.

In addition, if any errant program writes into this memory area, it will result in a system crash. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you disable this feature for better system performance."

Video BIOS Cacheable:

"caching the video BIOS does not necessarily translate into better system performance. First of all, modern operating systems like Microsoft Windows XP do not need to use the video BIOS. They bypass the BIOS completely and use the graphics card's driver instead. Therefore, absolutely no benefit can be realized by caching the BIOS."
