Hey All! I was wondering why CANT I UPGRAD MY BIOS!!! I got the right .Bin file, I got the AWD program, I booted my machine in a clean boot disk made in DOS and I STILL CANT UPGRADE MY BIOS!!! When I press "SAVE TO BIOS"(or something like that) the computer stops and holds to that screen for days if I leave it there! Then if I press enter while it's frozen, it will start beeping like hell!! And the BIOS still works after that, but not upgraded! :( What am I doing wrong? Anyone there to help?! Thanks!

Award bios flash won't work if there are any memory management tools called by the boot disk. You want bare basics sys files. Command.com io.sys and msdos.sys. NO config.sys or autoexec.bat and no calls for EMM386.exe or Hymem.sys etc. Check out Wimmsbios and badflash.com for more bios info.
