Can anyone please help me? I have HP pavilion 6740C. I know have a Intel Celeron 667 processor. I would like to go to a bigger processor. I believe my motherboard is a intel chip set 810. I do know that it is a 370 socket. What is the biggest processor I could upgrade to and still use my memory of 319.

i think you mean faster processor, for such a question, you should check with HP, since many large comp. manufacturers use OEM motherboards, they'll tell you what you can upgrade to

You can use a P-III up to 1.13 Ghz. after that you can't upgrade. I suggest you get a new mother board and cpu.
