Don't be to surprised to find out that most of the guys here are actually private personal comp geeks that live and breath this sort of thing.

No offence meant or directed at anyone.

Like most I also am a private so called geek, but with a heck of a lot to learn my self.

I was one of the very first to start building custom raid rigs in this city, when gigabyte released their first raid board.

Modest 2 I am LOL

But you are right there are some darn good tech's on this site. Private and Professional

IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT

Hey, I resemble that remark! I'm a totally self-taught geek with no formal training. It all started when I got a free AOL floppy in the mail - I think it was the all new version 3.0...LOL!

Vinman,

Glad to hear you got your rig running the way you want it. Thanks for posting back to say thanks :)

No problem Jam,just ironing out my max fsb on it. The nf7-s underclocks the vcore a bit from 1.65 to 1.62 so i upped it and the temps stay the same(39 idle/48 load). When i "toasted" it, it crashed after 8 hours(leave on all niter), so i went down to 217 fsb. Should i leave it at that? or could i push it farther by increasing vcore, etc. Im at 217fsb and 2280 mhz. Is it even worth tryin to squeeze more out of it or am i limited by the locked multiplyer thing. Ive seen where people claim theyve gotten up to 235 + fsb, which would be worth trying, but then again im sure people B.S. there oc's. Thanks again
