As I understand it the T'birds are already unlocked(my 1.4 is) overclocking is a complicated process wereas you try for more speed without burning up your chip or frying peripheals. So the first step is COOLING..thermal paste/heatsink/fan on CPU as well as case fans to draw cool air in front and hot air out the back.FSB is the easiest to increase in small increments is best. This has the best chance of increasing overall system speed but the speed of other devices are a divider of FSB and as such their speed increases as well up to a point were you will start to get errors say on the HD.With an increase in FSB comes loss of stability.Increasing the multiplier increases the speed of the chip and produces heat...lots of it.The object is to find the happy mid point where FSB and multiplier work together without crashes/errors/overheating at a faster speed than originally rated.Voltages matter in that more power is needed for the chip or the RAM to run quicker.Again how much is slowly achieved in small increments for stability. This by the way requires a GOOD power supply to keep those +3.3 and +5.0v steady and as close to true as possible. I suggest you look at some overclockers websites and read specifics to your MOBO I am running my 1.4 at 150x11=1650 with increases in voltage to the chip and DDR RAM with a low workload temp of 47c and a high workload temp of 52c.Strictly air cooled in a cool basement room. good luck
