NOT NT!!!!!!!!!!

2000 and XP Pro are pretty much the same OS with different looks. I'd say go with 2000 since you have P3 and it probably is cheaper. Either way, they're pretty much same, so if you can't live without the green and blue of XP, that's fine too.

Id say Windows XP Pro, because more people are getting into it, and is more up to date. Also unlike 2000 you have a compatibility mode where if it doesn't work with Win XP and only like lets say 98/NT or 2000 you can set the compatiblity to run the program like it was run in 2000. Lots of other good features as well. As better windows skins and such, also if you don't like it you can just switch to the old windows look as well. Those features got me set on XP =]

Being that it's a dualie rig, I'm assuming that you're setting up a server. As such, if you're running a SCSI RAID array, Win2K would be better, as XP ha a lot of SCSI RAID bugs. If you're running standard hard drives, I'd go with XP Pro.
