I set up a new pc with a Pentium II SL356 CPU on an ASUS P2-99 motherboard. It worked fine with Windows 98 running on it. I swapped the CPU with another for test purposes and found the test (other) CPU to be bad. I put back the good CPU but my computer won't start up after that. The CPU powers on and it appears to work but no beep and my monitor is blank. I have reseated the RAM and VGA card. Help pls. Also, How do I check for Warranty on my items with just the serial number??

The computer is not passing the POST TEST try reseating the cpu or do research on how the post test works and this will help you with your trouble shooting..........
