The processor is running at a guess, but the fan isn't, this is what is causing the beeping (from my past experience it would point to this anyway)

Turn off the PC, turn off the switch at the mains, but leave it plugged in (earths the PC). Open the PC up and look at the fan.

If it is very dusty unscrew it and give it a clean. Careful, the CPU might be VERY hot.

Try manually spinning the fan a bit, if the fan struggles to move, it is jamming and I recommend you find a new one.

Leave the PC open and turn it back on, check to see if the fan moves this time, hopefully it will.

Hope that helps

what happen here is that before this happen, i plugged in an PC 133 RAM where the main board can only support up to PC100 RAM.im not sure this caused the problem happen.Theorectically it shouldnt be as before that everything was fine, and when i plugged in the PC133 and another PC100 ram, it starts beeping. I took out the PC133 ram and now here i am. everything seems to be not working any more.could someone help out?

Are you positive you pulled the 133 ram and not the 100 ram by mistake? Double check to make certain all the cards and memory are seated correctly.

Power down the pc and reset the CMOS (this will cause your BIOS to use the default settings) by using the jumper on your motherboard. If your board doesn't have jumpers for this then just carefully remove the flat round battery and leave it out overnight. Reinstall it in the morning and see if you can boot.

I've tried to reseat all the cards many

times and also reset the jumper to default

but problem still the same.i dont think it

has to do with the jumper setting as the cpu

fan isnt moving at all. but it just dont

make sense by stop running in a sudden, rite?

hope someone could help up.

Try plugging a case fan into the spot on the board where the cpu fan plugs in. There is a possibility that your board is detecting the zero rotation of the cpu fan and is warning you. If the case fan powers up and the machine posts you will know why.
