would like to flash an old bios.
I have scoured the web and the closest thing
I can find is all written in German and is no
help. The BIOS info: 10/11/95-sis-496/497/A/B-2A4IBS29C-00 Anyone know where I might get a flash for
this chip? TIA --

Reply: (edit)You're looking for the wrong thing. The BIOS manufacturer doesn't have the flash files because its the manufactuer of the motherboard that does. Each BIOS is different
Your motherboard is a Soyo 486 PCI/VESA GREEN MAINBOARD 4SA W2/W5 according to www.wimsbios.com

The mother board number is ATC-6150.
The bios id number is as follows:
07/31/1998-i440ex-smc60x-atc-6150c-00
can anybody help in this problem.
How can i do setup my bios again ?

Reply: (edit)For having HD > 33Go on ATC-6150 witout upgrading BIOS, use OnTrack Data International solution for 33Gb lockup BIOS. Use disk manager 2000 of IBM, It's working perfect. This weekend, I'd install an IBM 7200tpm/ATA100/40Go on this motherboard, and it's work properly. All info here :
