Auto-detect cpu voltage.

does anyone know for gigabytes GA-7ZXE, it has auto-detect cpu voltage... can you get around that for overclocking? eg. a duron 1ghz at 1.75v change that to 1.85v if i take it to 1200mhz?

Try and find voltage jumpers on the mother board.

Is there a setting for Vcore in the BIOS? If not, you can modify your CPU (another pencil trick) to attain max safe voltage of 1.85. I won't dare try to explain...wouldn't wanna steer ya wrong...but I'm sure if you do a search, you'll find out exactly what bridges you need to close.
You may even be able to clock up to 1200 with out upping your voltage...have you tried?
