Hi, I'm currently facing this situation on about 2 or 3 of my workstation in office LAN.
Computer shutdown randomly without any error message or warning.
It is not a restart or BSOD.

I've check the event log and most of the time, an event with ID 4321 will be detected in these computers.
has it got anything to do with the auto shutdown?

or what is the problem here? Hardware or software?

ID 4321 info here: http://www.chicagotech.net/troubles...

Do these PCs all shut down at once? Do they happen at a certain time of the day? What exactly do you mean by "random"? Please ellaborate.

Do you have any programs running on that PC? Maybe you should run the PC without any programs running to see if it persists.

Try cleaning the gold colored edges of your RAM with a pencil eraser. If you have more than 1 stick installed, use them one at a time for awhile. If it restarts with only one stick installed, replace it with the other one. If you get no restarts with that one, it's most likely a problem with the other RAM stick. But if you still do, then it could be your power supply failing.
