Comment: Ok, I am sick of my GeForce4 64MB SE video card. So I am going to buy a new video card. I have been looking at a ATi 9800 Pro with 128MB. So this leaves me with some ?'s. 1) Should I stick with a nVidia card being I have a Abit NF7-S with the NForce2 chipset? 2) What is the difference between the ATi 9800 Pro and the ATi 9800 SE? 3) What nVidia card is equal to the ATi 9800 Pro as far as benchmarks? 4) What nVidia card is equal to the ATi 9800 SE as far as benchmarks? Thanks!!!

Reply: (edit)I bought a new Asus V9900 nVidia GeForce FX 5800 for $160. Was this a good by? The only difference between the Asus V9900 nVidia GeForce FX 5800 and the Asus V9900 nVidia GeForce FX 5800 ultra is that the ultra has 500MHz on the core and 1000MHz on the ddr and the non ultra has 400MHz on the core and 800MHz on the ddr. They both have nVidia NV30 cores. So that should mean I should be able to overclock my Asus V9900 nVidia GeForce FX 5800 to an Asus V9900 nVidia GeForce FX 5800 ultra right? Thanks!!!
