Athlon XP Processors

Do they use 12v power, or 5v power? Reason I ask is that some AXP boards have 12v connectors while others don't.
Another question: If AXPs indeed use 12v power, then what about those old slotted Athlons? Wouldn't they also use the same power rail, since they're basically AXPs with external cache and no SSE?
Just wondering, that's all...

Well, the P3 III and all CPUs before it ran on the +5V rail. Modern CPUs such as the Athlon, AXP and P4 run entirely on the +12V rail.

Thanks for the response!
So even the slotted Athlon, which is older than the socketed P3, uses the +12v rail?

I guess I'll clarify the above, though the Athlon was released after the P3, those slotted Athlon CPU's & even some older AXP's (mobos w/out ATX12V/P4 connector) much like the P3's draw their power from the +5v rail.
