Comment:
When do the Athlon Xp 2400 and 2600 come out? The AMD site says sometime in Sep. and I went on a site called some thing like cybertronpcc.com and they had them for sale, but every other site like newegg.com doesn't have them. When do they come out?

If they don't have them it is probably because they only deal with bargain pc parts, and I wouldn't imagine you will get any good deals on those CPU's yet.
If websites sell stuff at knock-down rates when the manufacturer wants the price to stay high for a period of time, they can and do cease all supplies of their products to the seller, IE, if NEWEGG tried to sell the AMD 2400 and 2600 at a low price, then it is likely they would be prevented from aquiring ANY AMD cpu's or other AMD approved motherboards.
I have seen this sort of thing with many manufacturers in retail entertainment equipment/computers/cameras.
Just one possibility.
For instance, has anyone seen a BARGAIN Pentium4 2800 yet?

I have been waiting to purchase an athlon 2600 processor and have also been looking like you. I did hear though that the release date was going to be Ocotober 1. This may be unture though, because as far as I know, athlon does not comment on unreleased products. Nevertheless, AMD says that it has been shipping for the past 2 weeks, so it will most likely be released by October 10 the latest.
Summary: Yes there was a bios upgrade for my MSI KT3 Ultra 2 Raid for it to support Athlon XP 2400+ and 2600+, but I assumed as the Athlon XP 2600+ ran at a 333mhz fsb I assumed the 2800+ would work to as ther...

Summary: You don't need to take it out. The athlon 1800+ runs at 1.53ghz, a multiplier of 11.5 times an fsb of 133. There is no such thing as an athlon 1800+ that runs at an fsb of 100 and a multiplier of 15....
