Here is my problem. I just got amd athlon xp 2800+ because my 3200+ broke. so i still got that motherboard that only supports 400 mhz front side. AMD Athlon 2800+ is 33fsb, will it work on that motherboard?

peace

yes, it should work fine.
you should probably be able to overclock the 2800+ to 400 mhz too if you can change the multiplier and fsb in the bios

"i still got that motherboard that only supports 400 mhz front side"

I never heard of a board that only supports one FSB & has no other options...are you sure about that?

Running the 2800+ at 200mhz (400FSB) may or may not work...the multiplier is locked at 12.5x, so that'd put your speed at 2500mhz. You'd have been much better off had you gotten a 2500+...it would have been cheaper & you're almost guaranteed to be able to run it as a 3200+

Did you raise the CPU voltage (vcore)?

As far as I know, no board ONLY supports 200mhz/400FSB...if it supports 400, it should also support 200, 266, & 333
