Even though all three variants of the 2000+ are locked @ the same 12.5x multiplier, if you have the thoroughbred or thorton core you will have more headroom when overclocking due to its lower default Vcore. Your PC2100 memory will hold you back from clocking your fsb much higher than 266, I am not sure if your motherboard version has that ASROCK hybrid booster feature, if it does you may have to raise the Vcore a little to get the PC stable when you start overclocking if you do run into stability issues. Now back to your question, I am not sure anybody can tell you precisely how high you can push the fsb since no two PC's act the same even when they have identical components, just make sure you raise the fsb in little increments till you hit stability issues, then you can consider raising the Vcore a notch to keep things stable.

im usint the 2000 thorton. with the same motherboard. my ram is pc2700 (512) simply by raising the fbs to 160 i changed the chip 2 a 2400 (2ghz) I reached a 2600 still stable but tempretures were a bit on the high side and i havnt invested in xtra cooling yet. im not sure wot implications pc2100 will have but u can always try

i`ve bought a PCChips 863g To work with a Athlon 2000xp. it doesn`t got any tweaking toll, but just rising FSB from 133 to 166 i`ve got a brand new "2600+ xp" recognized by the bios, and SiSoft Sandra had benchmarked it PR3020 , 2.07 MHz and 2600+ XP model 7 stepping 10.... I was on a really tight budget, but now I realize that it was an excelent choice. By thr way memory was 1 ddr 256 MB of PC2700 (166 mhz fsb Ram)
