i uped the clock speed nd the pc recognised it as a 1900 but anything past that and it would crash.plus the system wasn't running stable so i uped the corevolatge from it's defualt 1.75 to 1.85.then warcraft wasn't running well i guess it was getting to hot(around 52) so i returned everything to its defualt and its stil running45 idle??? and it never ran this hot before i overclcoked it?

you probably have a setting in your BIOS that turns down the CPU speed when it gets too hot to prevent overheating. this is probably whats causing your games to act screwy

Don't believe the temp. your BIOS is showing. It isn't an exact measuring device.

are you overclocking your processor by raising the FSB clock speed, if so then it is not just your processor you are overclocking it is also your ram, agp, pci etc.. Therefore it is proably not your CPU temp that is causing your computer to crash during games as it is nothit at all.
If you want to overclock your CPU to higher speeds the unlock it and change the multiplyer settings that way you will only be increasing your cpu speeds, making your computer much more stable
