Specs: Windows *.!
Does anyone know if the cpu on this little pc is it soldered on the motherboard or removable ? If it's removable I would like to buy an I5 cpu for it on ebay I seen them go for 38 dollars. If anyone has opened this Asus VIVO and knows I would appreciate it. Here is the link to the one I bought VivoPC VM40B

The mainboard may not support i5 even if existing CPU is removable, so you could be wasting $38. You can't just upgrade the CPU & expect it to work. In many cases a BIOS update may be required from the PC or board manufacturer.

If you look at the PC specs, then dig up the CPU specs, you'll see the power supply only puts out 65W, the Celeron wattage is 17W, & the CPU socket is FCBGA1023. I couldn't find anything about the CPU being soldered-in or not & I have no idea if the board or BIOS supports other CPUs, but I highly doubt you'll find a replacement for just $38.

some one opened the box, and seems the cpu is soldered-in.
