Hi, I was going to build a Socket A system but then thought Socket 754 would be better because it supports 64-bit, and I was thinking of buying an Asus S754 board, to go with a 3400+ Sempron...does anyone know which Asus S754 would be good?

The 3400+ Sempron is a waste of money...if you're gonna spend that much, drop another $5 & get an Athlon64. Otherwise, save yourself almost $50 & get a 2800+ Sempron64:

Get a motherboard based on the nForce3 250 or nForce3 250Gb chipset. Stick with well know brands such as Asus, Abit, Gigabyte, MSI, Epox. And read up on the RAM configurations. If you wanna use a PCI-e video card, look for a board based on the nForce4-4X

Right, I want a Sempron for now :P so I will get a 64-bit 2800. I have seen the Gigabyte GA-K8NS it has nForce 3 250, and thanks for your reply :)
