Comment: okay I have a new motherboard....ASUS P5AD2 Premium 925x LGA775 Wireless Edition....and i was trying to find some help on asus.com website....without any luck.... Hopefully someone here can help:) But i want to know if my mother will accept a intel p4 3.0 64bit processor.....i read somewhere it can..and all you have to do is upgrade the bios.....since the board has the socket 775 (newest socket)....anyone have any ideas.....thanks

Reply: (edit)You will have to upgrade to the 1010 bios befour you upgrade the prosesor.
I am using the same mb and the 660 prescott. Am also in 32 bit mode and will change to 64 bit when I can find a antivirous and firewall to go with it.
