okay I have a new motherboard....ASUS P5AD2 Premium 925x LGA775 Wireless Edition....and i was trying to find some help on asus.com website....without any luck....

But i want to know if my mother will accept a intel p4 3.0 64bit processor.....i read somewhere it can..and all you have to do is upgrade the bios.....since the board has the socket 775 (newest socket)....anyone have any ideas.....thanks

You will have to upgrade to the 1010 bios befour you upgrade the prosesor. I am using the same mb and the 660 prescott. Am also in 32 bit mode and will change to 64 bit when I can find a antivirous and firewall to go with it. Tom
