Hi guys,
I have a server that supports dual socket 370 processors and 4gb of 133/ecc/registered memory
So i have two sticks of memory that I know are ecc (extra chip) and a celeron 1400 but without the proper memory i get four beeps (memory issue) and with the mem i am not getting any beeps
the motherboard is good because i used it last with dual p3 800mhz before donating the p3's to constomer board and have kept the mobo in is anti-static bag, my question is the following:
1) what and where do i get a cpu terminator (i know what a scsi terminator is but not a cpu terminator) and
2) how do i know if my memory is 133mhz/ecc/registered or not?
Thank in advance
If you need any more info i will gladly provide
As always

If you've ever come in contact with an RDRAM motherboard that requires all slots to be filled, you may recall the popular workaround when you do not have sufficient RDRAM module is to use filler or continuity-RIMM sticks, so all slots are occupied.

These CRIMMs (Continuity Rambus Inline Memory Module) are sometimes also referred to as terminators. The same concept applies to your dual socket (server) motherboard since your intent is to use it as a single CPU system, and this is where the processor terminator board comes in, because that is what goes into the unused CPU socket.

eBay should have gobs of them but I didn't check.
