Hello,
I have a ASUS A7V333 with AMD Athlon XP 2000+ on it and just recently I got myself a ThermalTake Volcano 7+ [the one with coper heat sinks]. The fans is pretty heavy and I was wondering if it will break the socket? 'Cause I have a full tower case meaning that the fan will be hanging on the socket and pulling it down.

It should stay on fine. But over on the AMD.MB forums they were talking about A7V333's not booting with this heatsink. Because it doesn't fit the socket well for some reason. I dunno try it and see if it lays flat against the processor core :\
