Am trying to use an Athlon XP 2600+ 266 FSB cpu on my ASUS A7A266 rev. 1.10 mobo. Have flashed the BIOS to rev 1012 per ASUS recomendations but can't seem to get the correct BIOS settings to get the cpu to operate at its correct speed. It is currently detected as operating at a 1.6 GHz speed NOT 2.1 GHZ as I think it should be running. ANY help would be appreciated.
