Subject: arctic silver glue stuff?OS: XPCPU/Ram: AMD XP 2800, 512 DDR |
Comment: A while ago I was looking around for some thermal glue to glue a heatsink onto my crappy computer my sister uses (broken mobo so I can't clip it on), I found a site with this 2 part arctic silver stuff, and it said do not use on cpus instead use this and there was a link, so I ordered what was at the link. I got a single tube wlabeled arctic silver 3. I ended up not needeing to glue the heatsink on(zip ties worked). The other day I was looking at it and I thought "hey this isn't glue" am I right? If it's not glue then I can use it whenI get a new fan for my processor, but I certainly don't wanna glue the thing on!

Reply: (edit)Alright, cool. The wording on the website made it sound like they were saying it was glue when they said to use it instead of whatever the other thing was. Glad it's not glue though.
