I don't have aol/aim installed on my computer but I do have an aol account that has aim when i read my email. Here is my question I have added my buddies mobile number so that i can im them so why does it show my buddies mobile number as being online all the time until a few days ago,now it shows it as going offline for a little while and then going back online. What does that mean?Does it mean when it goes offline that they are talking on their phone or turned it off?

Yep. When they turn off their phone, it signs them off.
