Subject: anyone have a P4 1.7 Ghz or above..OS: xp proCPU/Ram: 1024Mb |
Comment: Hey, I am doing this project for school and we are required to buy a P4 1.7 Ghz or above. I am not looking to spend too much money on it maybe around $50.00 including shipping or handling fees. Please let me know and I know the money is not that much but I can't afford to get an expensive one. I have tried ebay.com but no luck, every time I try to place a bid on it someone always bids too much for me. Let me know..and please help me I am just a student. If you know of any wholesalers or a friend that would be willing to sell me a CPU then please let me know. Thanks to all you help in advance.

Reply: (edit)WOW, what kind of project. Im intrigued as to why youd need a p4 for a project at all, let alone requiring a certain speed spec.

Reply: (edit)Pentium 4 1.6g for $50 is impossible, sorry. Unless you leave the country and go to Taiwan and get a connection with the several cargo companies in Gaushun and Daoyuan it is impossible. Maybe you can try heatware and trade for one? www.heatware.com however you do need something that worth at least $90 or more for it. However, if you're willing to give up that particular item and the trader likes it you have a shot. Goto www.pricewatch.com and check out the lowest price for a P4 1.6 its around 100 dollars that is as low as it gets. I mean even an AMD XP clocked at 1.6 (1900+) is around $80. All I can say is good luck.
