Reply: (edit)Multiplier is locked so all you can do is experiment with the FSB...raise it a little at a time & take it for a tes ride, if it's stable, try raising it a little more...if it becomes unstable, back it off a bit. Don't make too big a jump at once or you'll have to reset your BIOS. There is no magic number that can be given, there are many variables involved when overclocking...what works well for one, may not work for the next one...

Reply: (edit)Look in your manual for how to change FSB settings...it could be DIP switches, jumpers, or in the BIOS...sometimes a combination. If you don't have the manual & know your model number, go to the motherboard manufacturer's website & download it....

Reply: (edit)Check your mobo manual. Dont have? Check the mobo manufacturer website and download the file. You'll need acrobat reader to print/read the file. Dont have? Download from adobe acrobat website. Now you got the picture. Dont know the mobo manufacturer? Check with AIDA32 (Win) or ASTRA (DOS) programs (or both). Dont have this? Find them with google.com. ASTRA will only work for two weeks. AIDA32 is free.
