The AM2 Athlon 64 3600+ X2 should be a heck of a deal especially on the new 65nm, it should overclock to 2.8ghz without any real heat issues.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ OC 2.7ghz
2GB Dual Channel DDR 3200
Nvidia 7900GT
SATA II 2x 300gig 7200rpm 16mb cache RAID-0+1
Gigabyte Nforce 4 SLI

I might actually be able to afford an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+!

If I build a computer now I want the availability to be able to use AMD processors later on.

I like chicken.
