HI.

Is AMD's Turion64 and Turion64x2 diferent processors or one and the same thing?

Also, can you please help me find which Intel processor is AMD's Turion64 at par with (or at least considered to be)

Thank you.

Turion 64 is a single core laptop processor based on Athlon 64 technology. Turion 64 X2 is the dual-core version.

Turion 64 is on par with the Pentium M (or Core Solo) performance-wise.

Turion 64 x2 is meant to compete with the Core Duo and Core 2 Duo. However, it's more like the older Core Duo performance-wise; the Core 2 Duo is quite a bit faster.
