Comment:
Would an AMD Athlon 64 3200 Winchester 90nm run warmer than an AMD Athlon XP 3200+? I read a bunch of reviews on the 64 and most people said it generates lower heat than previous AMD processors. My CPU is watercooled at 36.4oC, would you say my temps may rise?

The Winchester runs very cool. As you mention in your post its because of the new 90nm core requiring less volts. The xp range were all 130nm.
Put it this way my old 2500 xp mobile chip would run at 2500mhz @ 40 - 50 deg c
my winnie 3200 64 runs at 30 degrees overcloked to 2500 mhz on air with a copper sink. Loads of room left to push it further. People have been touching 2800 mhz with good air cooling.
