I recently (a month now, or 2) built my computer. I got it up running, had bad ram when I got it, so I had to send that back in for replacement. It seems to have always run rather warm, but I never really paid attention to the temperatures.
Mine specifically runs at about 40-43C at idle and around the 50's at full load (playing games). My videocard is at around 75C at idle and 80+ in games. I have Q-Fan disabled so that the RPM for the CPU fan will be at max.
My theories...
I need new/better thermal paste?
I do live in Texas, and I'm not in an AC`ed house right now, and the temp is about 65's - 75's F.
Maybe I need to upgrade my CPU fan or switch to water cooling?INFO: My case is opened and I have 4 Fans (including the CPU) running, but I can't control any of the RPM speeds.

XMS Corsair 3200XL 512mb x2
XFX 6800gt PCI-Express 256mb
550W Antec True(Granted the 550w does produce a lot of heat, but none of which is sent downward towards the CPU)
I've seen that other people have 3500+ and they run at 32C (the same model I have) which is why I’m really asking if I should I be worried, or once we turn on air-conditioning in this house will things be better?

IMO your temps are great considering that you have no AC! Don't worry about it at all. You will be fine.
