The 2200+, but I would recomend the 2500+ Barton. You can pick one up for about $75. Buy a Abit NF7-S rev. 2 for about $90. And a stick of 512MB stick of PC3200 for about $80. Then change the FSB to 400MHz and you got a 3200+!

Celeron = P4 / 2. I say it's equal to a P4 1.4Ghz. That's just an opinion.

Can you say L2 cache?
Celeron 2.8 has 128k.
2200+ has 256k.
2500+ has 512k.

Look it up.

amd's have exclusive cache which means you add L1 and L2 together. So add 128kb to each of the amd's above to get 384 and 640.

Ahhh...so the Celeron is an even worse chip than I previously thought. And I don't think much of it at all. Good info.

Man you must be new to using computers. I wouldn't give a Celeron to a child. Go with the Athlon XP. Hell it probably won't be much cost difference and you'll definitely will get better performance.

TECHZAPORT OUT!!!
