My AMD XP 2100+ Died because of many attempts to unlock it. My system was runing at 1.8 ghz with its bus overclocked to 192 mhz DDR. Now I bought an AMD XP 1600+, and I am still waiting for it. I would like to know if I made the right choice of buying it, because I heard its one of the most overclockable chips if one gets lucky and gets a good version of it. I have a DangerDen water cooling system with a Maze 3 Waterblock and the extreme version of the Radiator. My system runs at around ~30C or ~86F. Does any one have a simular system and chip, and overclocked to around 1.9 Ghz?

I heard the same, its better overclocking on that one than what i have. I have seen all the way up to 2.7 with Water cooling, but i only seen it with one guy, most of them easily hit 2.0...Good Luck
