Reply: (edit)This is no lie. Look at the RTPE at anandtech.com. I've been pricing out a partial system upgrade, and not more than 10 minutes after I bought my AMD 64 3700, the price went up 20 bucks on 1 site. and if you look at the RTPE, you'll see all AMD processors are way up from last week, average of about 35 dollars up from just a few days ago! I ended up getting mine at chiefvalue since newegg went up on me right before I was going to buy.
