Reply: (edit)I thought we had this straight in your last post? You're losing performance by running your RAM at a slower speed than the CPU. With your current setup @ 188/166, your RAM is bottlenecking the system. Lower the FSB to a speed that the RAM is also capable of running at, even if it means 180/180 & dropping your CPU speed to 1.80GHz This space for rent

Reply: (edit)I'm not sure you would get much more out of it anyway, I got my Sempron 2600+ to 2.3GHz and my ram was at 210Mhz. It was running stable but only if I took my ram timings to 3,4,4,8 an uped my Vcore. I didnt notice any speed difference and I didnt think that the extra 100Mhz was worth the heat and crappier ram timings. So I'm still running at 2.2Ghz at stock voltage and 2.5,3,3,8. I think with that system the best way to get better performance is by getting another 512Mb of ram or replace the current ram with PC3200 and you might get 200MHz FSB from that processor.
