You know the four little black cusiony thingies that come on your new AMD processor? Are those supposed to come off or stay on, I have been wondering that, b/c it seems like the cpu wouldn't make a good solid connection with the heatsink assembly. Thanks

they are supposd to stay on, the are soft enough that they will compress when the HS goes on. If they do come off, it isnt the end of the world though, it will be fine without them

those soft little things are there so you don't crack the chip when putting the heatsink on the chip. lol. some also come with little mettal shims.
