I'm helping a friend upgrade a computer and I have a nice AMD K6-2 333Mhz CPU to replace a 200MMX Intel. The only thing is it's been so long since I have done this I'm confused by the label on the actual AMD CPU.
The label says:
AMD K6-2 333AFR-66
2.2V Core/3.3V I/OThe older boards require you to manualy set volatge, bus speed, and multiplier. I'm a little confused and just need a little hint as to the right settings.
A Google search brought this page which does answer some questions, but not what Volatge I'm supposed to set the motherboard to.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Your voltage should be set at 2.2---try your fsb at 75 and your multi at 4.5 for better I/O----for stock settings use a 66 fsb and a 5 multi------if it is a super 7 board you may get 100 x 3.5....good luck

OMG! Everything you need to know is printed on the CPU & the tables list EVERYTHING according to the CPU info!
"AMD K6-2 333AFR-66
2.2V Core/3.3V I/O"CPU Voltage = AMD-K6-2/333-66 @ 2.2V
Bus frequency and Multiplier = K6-2/333-66 @ 66MHz / 5.0x / (BF0=1, BF1=0, BF2=0)This space for rent
