Stop doubling up on your posts! One was already deleted...go back to your original post in the hardware forum & read what I suggested. The 3500+ Venice that you're asking about only has 512k L2 cache...either get an Opteron or an A64 San Diego

You need to post what is your original system spec, what you want to do and how much you willing to spend on it... For exmaple, if you currently have Athlon XP 1700+ and 512MB DDR400 memory and you want to upgrade your CPU. The best and cheapest choice would be buy an Athlon XP 2500+ and overclock to 3200+ if your motherboard support 200Mhz FSB...
