hi, my computer seems to be operating a bit over the normal range of temperatures. I have a Gigabyte GA-7N400-L with Athlon 2800+. At idle, the system temperature is around 45, and cpu temp is at 65. Whats also causing alot of heat is the power supply, which heats up very quickly. Is my CPU running too hot? It is not overclocked.

It would help to know your system temp...it should be within 10C of the room temp. If it's much higher than that, you should evaluate your case cooling configuration.
How do you know your PSU is "causing alot of heat"? If you're feeling the warm air exhausting from the back of the unit, that's not a good indicator because the PSU also works as an exhaust fan for the case.

It is always good to see if the air flow is through the computer. Some switching supplies will dump the exhausted air back into the case. In addition it is good to have an inlet fan supplying positive pressure to the case. Excess holes in the case will allow air flow to bypass the flow through of the case as well. Enjoy
