amd cpu fried?

I think my processor is fried, if i try it in another mboard will it damage it if it is.? Would the bios and stuff come up if the processor is naf, any help would be appreciated

It shouldn't hurt the motherboard if you wanna test it out to be certain...but if it's fried, you will get nothing on the screen...are you getting anything on the screen now? If so, cahnces are your CPU is OK & something else is causing whatever problem(s) you're having....
