Hello Everyone, I recived from a friend of mine a use AMD Athlon CPU but I am donīt know much about it. Can anyone plase help me set it up.
I gat yeaterday a new Motherboard from ASRock (www.asrock.com) K7VM2. I added the CPU and it thinks its a AMD Athlon XP 1700+ But I not so sure if it is a XP nur if the setup is right, I have no idea. It`s running at 1.46GHz and sometimes at 1.5Ghz
On the Chip it says "AMD Athlon tm", "AX1700DMT3C" from 1999. I have set the jumper at 133MHz FSB and the BIOS Auto detact says the same.
