Hi, Ive recently built my pc, but ive just noticed that when i load up IE without no toolbars or any add-ons installed the cpu usage whizzes up to 45% - 58%
Is this normal?

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ Skt.939
1gb Ram
2x 250gb Maxtor HDD
XFX Geforce 7300Le PCi-e

CPU useage will jump momentarily as IE opens & the page loads, but it should drop right back to 0% (or close to it) almost immediately. If it's hanging at about 40-60%, you have something else going on.
