ok guys this is what i run!
windows xp home on a self made system that includes.
dfi landparty kt400a mainboard
ocz premier dual channel ddr400 2 - 512mb
ati radeon 9600pro 256mb ddr+dvi+tv agp
500 watt power supply
x blade case
600 gb hard drives
amd athlon 3200+ barton core 200/400mhz
coolmaster cpu fan

ok my problem is ive only just added the processor to my sytem upgraded from the 2400+ 133mhz now for some reason i cannot get my cpu to run as a 3200+ if i bring the settings down to 166mhz it will run as a 2500+ but i cant get it to run on the 200mhz settings my ddr is running at 400 everytime i try to run my processor at 200 mhz the sytem wont boot anyone got any ideas on how to get this to run??

Well, try to search about your processor information... I think that your problem is that you are confusing the model of your CPU with the Speed of your CPU. Check that.

well its definatly a amd athlon 3200+ barton core 400mhz fsb 200mhz core clock, i have just been on my motherboard website and for some reason they no longer seem to list my board as supporting 400mhz fsb the manual clearly shows it supports it and there are jumper settings on the board for 400 but the top they are now listing is 3000+ 333mhz fsb can they suddenly change they specs they originally advertised as supporting???

You do realize that the 3200+ only runs at 2.2GHz, correct? And that it should be clocked at 11 x 200MHz? And that you should have PC3200 RAM?

Do you have the manual for your board? The KT400 chipset wasn't called "400" because it ran the CPU at 400MHz FSB...it was called that because it ran the RAM at DDR400. If you notice...the FSB is described as 333+
