Reply: (edit)All though I can't speak as a mobile PC user, I will have to say that the Mobile processor has enhanced the PC/aftermarket a great deal! It's the answer to the unlocked Barton if you have the correct mobo. VERY FAST (from what I have read) IMO!!! YO

Reply: (edit)I think the price is a kinda high for a refurb notebook, considering you'll have little or no warranty on it. The ram is not very much either and the hard drive is slow (4200rpm). Are you on the move all the time and need a laptop or can you do with a desktop, talking about moving, that laptop weighs 7.3 lbs, I'd prefer something lighter. New laptops may cost a couple hundred more but you get the peace of mind in form of warranty. Check out Averatec laptops you might see something you like within your budget. -- Have a Happy New Year --

Reply: (edit)Thanks for replying so quickly. Those Averatec laptops are nice looking computers. Thanks for the advice. I still wanted to know about the AMD processor, if its says 2800 or 2200 etc. how do I find out the speed of the processor. Is just 2.8 ghz = 2800 or am I wrong? Thanks again.
