Hello, I'm looking to buy an AMD 64 3500 (2.2 GHz skt. 939) but I don't know which core is better. So far I have seen two - Venice and Clawhammer. Which 1 do you recommend?

Both the Clawhammer and Venice overclock really well if you're thinking of doing that. Clawhammer runs hot so if you go with that you might need to think bout gettubg really good cooling. Venice overclock's really well at low voltage and also doesn't run that hot and it has the new SSE3. Both core's are pretty much the same, now you do ur research and see what fits you best.

3200+ Venice because it's $50 cheaper & you'll never notice the 200MHz difference

get a 3200+ venice and overclock it. you could maybe get up to a 4000+ or 4200+ level, with the right cooling. if you don't mind tackleing liquid cooling, it is best.
Argue for your limitations and sure enough, they're yours.
Summary: Hey, I got an AMD 64 3200+ Venice Core and I'd like to overclock it (Using stock fan). I have an MSI GA-K8N Ultra SLI (That's the newest one, after GA-K8N SLI and GA-K8N Pro SLI). I'm having 1024MB PC...
Summary: I was wondering which would be a better buy. the 3500+ Venice or the 3700+ San Diego. The only difference is $23 more for the 3700+ and the 3700+ has 1MB L2 cache instead of 512KB. I've heard the Veni...
